Chasing the Vibe !

What’s your reason for the season? Seriously why are people so obsessed with this month and time of year? I think I have an idea as to why that is. Let me explain and expand lol.

For a good deal of us this time of year is more looked forward to that any other and for good reason ( in my opinion) . This is the time of year where people expect the unexpected and look for the creepy and cute and some what out of pocket type stuff that is really not the “normal” . It’s a time that certain groups or individuals can let it all out and no one Bats an eye ( see what I did there 🤣) . Seriously though it that childlike sense of wonder it pulls at us , the cool temps , the moody foggy mornings the absolute pull to be outside at odd hours to experience the feeling of the season . The ability to go into the office in an outfit that maybe you can only truly wear on weekends running your errands because you are a little to Goth for the office. It’s the time of year we set out to watch our favorite Halloween movies and blast old music playlists because it’s the Vibe right now. Even though some us like listening to Killer Halloween playlists all year long lol .

It’s soup and chili season , cozy up on the couch with a scary book season literally ALL THE THINGS . We eat it up as if we might miss something. Why though ? Honestly to be brutally honest… adulting sucks and I’m we are eaten up be mind numbing responsibly to our daily grind that pays the bills . It’s the simple we get so sucked into our daily routine of just trying to get through our day , the we loose the “ Childlike “ wonder . Which on some level we all relate to that sadly . But here come the time of year where we’re given permission to go nuts with all the fun stuff , decorating because the stores finally put out the good stuff we all need for our homes / bat caves and lairs lol . We are able to decorate our yards and plan parties and gatherings it’s an excuse to mingle and connect outside the confines of the norm.

This playing into witches and the Otherkin as well as the non magikal folk also . Telling spooky stories around a fire pit , SIGN ME UP !
